Default Trailer plug connector....

Does anyone have the pinout and location on the trailer plug connector handy? The wife's H3 doesn't have the towing package, and I want to tap into it so that I can do LED backup lights using PIAA Deno 3's and a relay harness.

Now that I have the fuel can carrier, I can hang a GOOD backup light off of it so we can have rear view lighting and low power draw.

Thanks,
Steve

If I remember correctly If you get the H3 without the towing package it does not have a "connector" you would have to splice into rear harness. Not sure of they changed this but when they first came out we had a customer that wanted a hitch and we swaped rear bumpers and hitch off another H3 but the rear Harnesses were different.

That sucks,
On most vehicles you can get a "plug and play" type harness that should plug into the trucks wiring harness.

Check out Pep Boys, NAPA or a dedicated trailer supply store. Hopefully somthing has come out by now.
