Default Coil Spacers?

I do not want a large lift for the rig but I would like a little pick me up. I have the torsion bar key lift or aka leveling kit which is great with the 37's but I dont have them at full extension just yet. I have seen spacers for the rear that are about 1 1/4" to 2 1/4' for the rear. does anyone have expierence with these? I have heard that they are dangerous? Is this true and if so Why? the next question I have is will i need to extend my shocks to do these or will stock accomodate them? the final question I have is what height can i really expect from them? Any knowledge or opions are great and thanks for the help.

B

sorry for the long read.

I just put coil spacers on my H2. I took it offroading last week and had no problems. I used Supermaxx torsion keys and coil spacers. It added 1.5 inches. I bought them from Trail Duty. You can see the results on in the photo section of this site. The heading is 2003 H2 with 40x13.50x18's. Here is there link.

those look reat and i really wish i would have seen the supermaxx torsion keys before i bought the readylift set. i have had no problems out of them but i know they dont have the versatility of 3 inch lift. so before i click the buy button did you need to change shocks or can you still use stock?

Thanks
Bentley

If you look on Supermaxx web site and download the instruction, I think they recommend not changing your shocks. I did not change mine, and so far no problems.
