Terrain in SoCal/Nevada is often deceptive with the loose sand with many small sharp rocks. When my MTRs were new, I went up one such deceptively simple hill, and chewed-up the MTRs pretty good. The H2 following me bent a tie-rod at the top. Going down would be a controlled slide, as it's not possible to stop on the loose sand.

Alec, I'm not here to argue. Done with that. As I said somewhere else, the hill is easy however it is steeper than it looks. As H2F said - a controlled slide to the bottom and not just me, every truck did the same even with tires aired down to 25 PSI. |
