As if they weren't completely hated already, now this:
Dogs used as shark bait
STRAY dogs are being skewered on hooks and dragged behind boats as live shark bait, The Sun can shockingly reveal.
The cruel practice takes place on French-controlled Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean, where Prince William spent two holidays.
A six-month-old labrador pup was recently found ALIVE with a huge double hook through its snout - like the dog above - and another through a leg.
The pup was found in a coastal creek and is thought to have somehow freed itself from a fishing line.
But other dogs and kittens have been chomped up and swallowed by sharks.
The RSPCA plans to petition the French government, demanding an end to the hideous torture.

A MAN has been arrested by cops probing the use of live dogs as shark bait, it was revealed last night.
It comes a day after The Sun published horrific photos of a pup with a fishing hook through its snout.
Cops on French-controlled Reunion Island say a man will appear in court tomorrow. And last night the French Embassy vowed to target more rogue fishermen.
It said: “Such acts are illegal and intolerable.”
Animal welfare group Sea Shepherd will pay £680 to any cop who catches a fisherman baiting a dog.

Holy ****.
I have seen some really disturbing things in my life, but this is amongst the worst.
Let's get something straight. I come here to the board to relax, escape, and enjoy life a bit.
Not for the mother ****ing shock value.
****ed up stuff like this is really a buzz kill.
I am outraged on two counts:
1) Sick man. This should not be happening.
2) I really didn't need to see this. It has no place on the a Hummer board. Damn it.

I haven't been here all that long, and really haven't commented on the raunchier threads, but this one really PISSES ME OFF!
That son of a cum guzzling whore that did this to those dogs. Damn, I cannot for the life of me begin to relate how horrible this is. It makes me sick. That mother f-er! Stick each of the hooks through his nuts, crack his spine and then stick the hooks through his nostrils. Let him choke on his own under developed johnson. Crank him up in the air and lightly cut him a few thousand times and THEN slowly lower him into the water with a few horny, hungry sharks and let them munch his maggot infested carcas!
Damn this really makes me angry!
As you might guess from my avatar I really love dogs. I've never met a dog that wouldn't return your love tenfold without asking anything in return.
If they caught the little **** they damn well better execute him, and if that doesn't happen may he become the mother of all prison bitches and receive a nightly gang rape.
Damnit, this is just plain sick.

The website "Snopes" has not determined if the picture and story is factual, however it has good points to consider to doubt it.

Ok, In retrospect I was a bit strong after having quite an ugly day at work. I guess that this put me over the edge.  It really was an ugly day and this was not what I was expecting when I opened the thread.
As a hobby I have worked with dogs now for years and hope to have my Golden, Ipe, trained as a Certified Therapy Dog soon. The thought of this happening to her sickens me nearly as much as somthing happening to my son. Lets just say that this news hit too close to home.
Hey, even the stuff posted in the Woodshed isn't as nasty as this news was
