Default installing camera

i'm trying to get a camera installed in the back of my truck, & have it so that when i put it in reverse, the touch screen will automatically switch to my camera view. the guy that's supposed to install it said that i need to find some sort of video input that will connect the screen with the camera... anyone have any suggestions? he recommended the brands soundgate & blitzsafe but i couldn't find what i needed on their sites. but then again i don't have much experience with this, so any advice would be great!

I dont have a H3 but I would definitely give you this advice:

If your installer isnt up to date on things, I would not have him install it.......!
You should also have the option of having the camera on while driving in Drive, requires a switch, your installer should now this too.

A good installer knows vehicles and products.

Good Luck on this.

If this is an OEM navigation unit, you can call PAC and speak with Jesse Armstrong www.pac-audio.com - they make a video adapter to hook a back-up camera to the OEM nav unit. I have it and it works perfectly - just as you want yours to work.

I absolutely agree. If you are paying him, why should you do the legwork? Bad installer!
