I'm having a hell of time getting ahold of MT/R's. The guy I talked to at Goodyear says they are shipping them all to Iraq at the moment.

The guy I talked to at Discount Tire is trying to talk me into BFG MT's, but since I really don't know much about tires, I've just been going off of everyone else's expierences.

MT/R's seem to be the proven solution, so should I hold out for them?

Check out the reviews at www.tirerack.com

Anyone have any experience with the Pro Comp Mud Terrains? They look similar to the MTs.

If you go to the goodyear web site you will see that 37/12.50/17 mt/r's have 20/32" tread when they are new.

MT/R Hounds,

Came across this on eBay today.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2455792963

Good Luck.

BTW - I will say that I am VERY impressed with these tires. Have had them for 6 weeks now. Excellent traction off-road and on snow. Very little to no difference in noise level on the highway.

My eBay contact has the 37 MT/R's back in stock. Unfortunately he is asking $400 bills a piece.

Here is his email if anyone is interested.

Sorry about the sucky price, but supply and demand I guess -

I emailed the guy last night and he told me that what he had were 40s, not 37s. So maybe there was a bit of confusion in the conversation. I offered him 250 for 37s and he said he would be in touch as soon as he had them.

Detonate,

Have you tried Sam's Club. Seems like there are 2 that's right by you. One on I-30 and one on I-20. I know Sam's sells the MT/R's and hell you might get lucky.

Paragon-

I would be interested in picking up five if they can ship them out to Houston, Texas for a decent price. Let me know if this local person would be willing to do it. If so, post his contact info either here or in a PM and I'll give him a holler.

Thanks in Advance...

BFG's are great tires, other than Swamper Bias-plys, all I have run for over 20 years, and never had a problem The Mud's are awsome off road for what you guys do. Ultimate is the Swamper bias plys, but they suck on the road. BFG's are a great choice!

Woohoo! Det is first and I am behind him. Also, Det and I could have ours shipped to the same place in Dallas possibly if this would make shipping cheaper.

Tens tires would make a nice pallet load...

Please let us know Bam! You can email me directly at kyle@hardocp.com or IM/ICQ me at 3069558. Thanks! If you pull this off, I owe you a bottle of your fave drink.

I got an email from my eBay contact about 15 minutes ago - his main supplier is sold out, but said that he had a confirmed shipment coming in on 1-5. There should be 9 sets of 5 i that shipment. I told him that I knew of at least 5 sets that we would pick up. He will call the supplier and see if he would hold these 5 sets - told him these are all SERIOUS buyers and willing to hold them with a credit card if needed. If this pans out, I'll just give you guys the contact info and step out of the way. But Kyle you still owe me the Louis XIII - but will settle for a six pack of Shiner!

Roger all that Bamf, it is very much appreciated. I apologize for questioning your character.

As for some of the other folks around here, I wonder if they are old enough to have a license to drive their trucks.
