BTW: where the hell did you go on vacation and not know about rising gas prices? Mars?

On the other hand: I heard that if I turned over the lid on my H2's air cleaner that I could expect a 50% increase in gas mileage. Comments?

well while in mexico i got use to paying 1.80 to 2.00 for gas and i get back to the us and i feel like im getting rapped at the pump. im just venting my frustration .

Out of curiosity, How did you "just pay off your truck" when you say you got it at a dealer auction. I have purchased a few vehicles from auctions and you must have a check to pay it in full on the spot. Also, you need to have credentials. Just curious............

well my uncle has a dealer lic he's the one who took me to the auction and paid for the truck in full then I just paid him back. took me a couple months but its all mine.

So it only took a couple of months to pay off a $18K loan and you are whining about gas prices.... OK

What about the posts/quotes listed above where you say you hardly drive the Hummer but all of a sudden now you are going through 3-4 tanks a week??? That is 1000+ miles per week (depending on what type of mileage you are getting). What the hell are you doing that you drive 1000miles/week??
