JC, none worth mentioning. I went with my family and the in-laws. It was more of an "offroad picnic" if you know what I mean . But hey, at least we got to go out! Day two we went through some canyon/wash area that had some good obstacles. My brother in law is going to be at Ft. Irwin for two more years so this will not be our last trip. Are you familiar with the area?

Uhmmmm... Oregon
Actually, you can wheel at the beach, hit the mountains & snow and then the high desert all in the same day.(you might have to drive a little bit fast)

Great picture! I would love to get a shot of my H2 parked among some military jeeps, tanks and maybe a fighter jet or chopper in the background. It would be suitable for framing.

I have been to Hollister numerous times, it has some pretty kickass trails...next time you are up here let me know and we can do a Hollister run...of course there will be a few trails that you may not be able to squeeze through but still alot of cool things you should be able to do.

the obstacle course is fun...it has squeeze rock, the frame twister Video Here, the stair step, and the infamous mud pit

hahahaha...how about dust? lol...you get tons of it during spring and summer...you can try what you will fit through, and then just let me know dates and I will set up a run with my group and for the trails you can't fit through you can always park it and ride shotgun...because like this trail
i know you would not fit through but it is one of the more challenging and fun trails there

Hey Alec,

What the hell is on top of that H2? Looks like a rack off of a Yugo? And is it full of bowling balls? LOL

I think you must have posted the wrong picture there JeepChick. a). It does not look narrow at all, and b). it does not look overly challenging.

S&B Member Since 2003

that is the trail I wanted to post but right past where my buddy is standing there is a tree and the trail gets narrow, my friend in an XJ barely escaped there without hitting the tree and got body damage on the other side of his XJ...I will see if I can find a pic of him

That's a Yakima rack, and it is PERFECT for the Subaru is now resides upon. I think that was the pic that Sandra saw and convinced me to replace it with a GOBI. Like I needed to have my arm twisted on that one.
