Very funny... You got me.

That water crossing was probably the most fun aspect of the Kayne Creek Trail.

We just happen to be in Moab during there rainy month. Any other time of the year that creek would have been dry.

Places around here in Vegas looked like that last week when we got 4 inches of rain in two days which is almost our yearly alotment..

I stand corrected.

So I guess I'll go have the cut off switch for the fans installed. Actually the switch is there from when the flex-a-lites were in place. I'll have to call Allen at Nelson Performance and ask what I need to do or where I need to tie into to be able to switch off the new fans which are from the HD2500 GM p/u truck and are tied into the pcm of the truck. I know the switch is not functional currently. On the plus side for the fans they handled this water crossing with no trouble. Nothing broke, bent or otherwise failed.

Quick question,

The fans are they supposed to blow out or pull air in threw the radiator?

I ask because I think the dealership that installed them for me might have wiried them backwards as they currently blow air thew the radiator.

ALWAYS pull thru...in accordance with the flow of air from outside.

Fastest H-Town Realtor,
Thanks.

I thought so.

And this probably explains why I was having overheating issues coming back from Ca to LV going up and over the two 4000ft passes.

It is strange and funny that a couple of days after the dealership installed the fans I took off for a week in Moab, UT and had absolutely no over heating issues at all. It was in the mid 70's most days in Moab and it was nearly 90 the other day coming home.

Now all I have to do is convince the Hummer dealership they've done something wrong

That's correct, your fans are inside the radiator and should be pulling the air. If the fans were on the grill side of the radiator they would be pusher fans.

It's probably nothing more than reversing the +/- wires.

Ken, thanks... The fans are inside the engine bay, like the flex-a-lites were. The dealership has everthing pretty well tie strapped and contained within loom. I'll see if they'll admit first to doing it backwards then ask if they'll fix the blunder. If no is the answer I'll just have see if it's something I can find and fix. The whole thing has been tied into the factory wiring loom, there is no telling where they got power from.

I'm happy to see or hear that you made it home from Moab without further problems.
