Just had these 37-12.5-R17 Goodyear MT/R's put on a couple of days ago. I never felt a rougher ride until I found out they put 65lbs of air in each tire, dropped it down to 37lbs, nice ride. Have had no rubbing yet since I have not been off road but looks like there is plenty of room for some mild off-roading. Looks good, still fits in my 81.5" garage and still has a few more inches to spare. I guess I will be waiting for a real 2inch lift.

Alan,

Those tires do look good. I bet they do ride a lot better now with 37 lbs. There's a lot young people working in these tire shops who think max pressure on the side wall is the correct pressure to run. If it says 45, 50, or 65 lbs. max pressure, that's what they inflate to.

Remember, an old friend of mine has a tire shop here in Jax. when your ready to rotate and rebalance those bad boys, and we can help.

buddy

Alan,
I had the exact same thing happen w/me. I was about two blocks from the tire store thinking, this is terrible. Rough, and followed every indention in the pavement.

Got home checked w/nifty tire gage in the the back, and yep 67-72lbs.

Took mine down to 42lbs and love 'em I'll take them down to 37lbs and see if there is any difference.

BTW - Great looking rig! I'm liking the look w/no crossbars on the roof - - and the light cluster up front.

Yah I think it looks better without the roof rails too, I like the flat hummer look. I will just use my rails for utility when needed. Im also thinking of putting the lights in the front straight across, Im not sure about the smiley face look I have also added an electronic air horn w/PA that works off the regular horn switch in the steering wheel and a 100W low profile driver mounted in the grill, it is kick butt ( PA300 ) I have a few more if anybody is interested will post in classified.
Another picture with possible Go-Light location, any comments?

H2 Orange....

I put the go-lights there too. White H2- white lights. 1 on each side, hard wired power, w/ hand held remote for each. They work awesome. My thread might still be there "new toys for my H2" In general or this forum. Good luck, you'll be happy w/ them. I thought agout putting them on the fenders closer to the front too.

I remember seeing yours, very nice. Only thing holding me up is trying to figure out a way to mount the light so that it is level. If it is mounted flat on the vent cover it is slanted toward the side. Im thinking maybe a rubber shim cut to fit. How is yours mounted?
