Default avic-z1 owners

Does your Z1 take a long time to boot every time you start up the vehicle? My old N2 used to go right to the navi or av screen, but the Z1 takes about 30 seconds and goes through the boot screen that you usually only see after you lose power on the N2. I figure it's the HD booting, but might be a wiring problem if no one else has this issue.

It's normal. It's just the hard drive booting up the OS, which is Windows Automotive. And we all know how long Windows takes to boot.

Ah... good (I guess). I just had a Z1 and a Clifford SST installed in the H2, there was some wiring problems , they used the wrong adapter. Good to know the Z1 is working right. thanks
