Default replacement of exhaust and air box

Simple question:
I want to change the existing muffler for a dual exhaust Magnaflow or equivalent and the air filter by a Airaid intake system... i will probably get a few HP that will be usefull in soft sand.
But, will the warranty still be valid by GM and Hummer???
The dealer told me that it would be ok for the exhaust if they install it themselves... I get the feeling he's bull****ting me...
any ideas???

thanks to share...

Default Re: replacement of exhaust and air box

Xof, over here in the Emirates its pretty much the same story as what Mannai is telling you in Doha. The dealer will now supply your H3 already fitted with the twin cat back system and induction kit and will continue to honour the warranty. saying that another guy had his Borla exhaust and K&n filter fitted at a third party workshop and Liberty still entertains his warranty. Mind you his were minor complaints, compared to mine, just popped the side airbags again. That was after they had replaced the roll over module with a re callibrated unit that they said would guarantee no further re-occurrences.
Lightning strikes twice in the same place I guess!
Trouble is I'm f*ckd for a vehicle this weekends desert madness, the seat belt tensioners triggered with the airbags and they can't fix by Thursaday, no parts in country. Just waiting on the service manager to let the workshop rob them from another H3 in the mean time.
