A few years ago, I got hooked on vettes. Completely by accident, I drove one and loved it. Years later, my last is a convertible C5 supercharged that gets over 25mpg on the highway. I love the car.

That was... until I got the H2. In the last 3 weeks, I've only driven the vette once. With gas prices the way they are, you'd think I'd be driving the vette more.

Well thanks guys for getting me hooked on the best ride of my life.

Mark

PS. And ya'll need to start waving. It's not just a vette/jeep thing.

Okay, I'm going to make a statement that epitimizes the snotty, stuckup, better than everyone else hummer owner.

I didn't realize how much different the H2's are from a suburban. I was always under the opinion that the H2's were subs with different sheetmetal.

After seeing some of the way you guys drive your trucks, I know I could never drive my Yukon like that. The H2 is a very cool vehicle.

I haven't gone 4wheeling yet but rest assured, it's gonna happen.

I'm with Nixxx.

I ride sportbikes, I want at all bikes.
I drive a Corvette, I wave at all vettes.
I drive a H2, I drive at all Hummers.

Just kind of a brotherhood thing.

I did however get my first wave from a fellow H2'er today.

I wave at all H2 as i pass them and some do not wave back. As for Harley riders i build bikes on the side and i wave at all riders regardless of make. I have worked in the Harley industry part time for the last 10 years and for the most part they will wave at all bikes, probably those are new riders and can not take there hands off of the handlebars for fear of crashing. We do like to give other riders crap about there make of bike. kind of like us giving jeeperrs a hard time. but when it comes down to brass tacks riders as well as wheelers have the same pssions in mind.

Oh Orange. You still got to drive the Vette and the H2 bro. Don't want the Vette to get jealous.

Here I drive the H2 in the winter, Vette in the summer.

I'm going to have to get the Vette put away soon though. Will be snowing soon around here.

Vette owners always have around here. But H2 owners hardly ever do.

Actually, I drove the vette today. I had to jump the battery...lol.

It's funny, it just doesn't seem to have the same pizzaz for me as it did before.

I've got a 1996 extended cab, stepside, tubbed, full caged, blown bigblock that needs finished. If I sold the vette, I could easily finish that project. Perhaps I should sell it. It's paid for and I hate to sell it.

I love driving the H2 so much, I'm afraid once it's lifted, I'll want to drive it everywhere.

LoL. Sometimes I get sick of my Vette. Than I put it away for 5 months over the winter and about 2 months in I find myself out in the garage looking at it, and modding it.

I think even when I get the Z06 I will still keep my 04', Im just too attached to it.

How do you like that C6? I'm a C5 owner. But I will soon be adding the new Z06 to the collection when my dealer gets his allocation.

I was going to do the new C6 also. Except, since I want a convertible, I was thinking of buying a vert and installing the Z06 bodypanels. It's not a matter of trying to pose but I love the look of the new Z06.

When we went to the Corvette Forum meet in Bowling Green this year, they had a couple of Z06's come join us in the hotel parking lot. Dave Hill drove one down and we got to check it out. VERY IMPRESSIVE car.

I had a C5 and loved it. The C6 is all of that and more. Very nice car. Black on Black automactic. loaded with nav. Z51. It is as fast as a C5 Z06. I think it is better built car than the C5. I think the C6 Z06 is going to be a very nice car also.
