First off, there were some great submissions and picking the winner was quite a difficult task. The entries ranged from poems to down right begging and just about everything in between. I appreciate everyone participating, but there can only be one winner ...

(enter drumroll here)

The winner of the Rear letter inserts is:

JIM aka TEXAS RED!

Jim's entry:

Sung to the tune of Jingle Bells (You can't read it, you gotta sing it)

Dashing through the snow
In an H2 on the go.
This sleigh costs lots of dough, but I don't get stuck no mo'

The rig is looking rough,
with mud and slush and stuff,
But through it all I sing my song, "I'll never get enough!"

Ohhhh,
Car wash time is major time,
Takes longer than I'd like,
But when I'm through with cleaning her, she sparkles nice and bright.

Ohhhh,
One last thing that makes me gleam,
It looks so good it hurts.
My bumper has the Hummer name is stainless steel inserts.

Congrats Jim!

The time it took to pen the jingle???

20 minutes to get it started one day. 20 minutes to finish it up trying to find a way to get in the phrase "stainless steel inserts" on the next day.

I really resonate with that part about the washing...after driving back with the H2 early this morning I immediately washed it to get the road grime off that accumulated as we drove through some rain/snow mix in Indiana and St. Louis. Man, that is one heck of a job.

Very impressive, you'll always have a fall-back career with Hallmark.

Congrats.
