I just saw the Black Friday ad for Best Buy and they have the TomTom One LE
on sale (Black Friday) for $119. Hell for that price it's basically disposable.
I prefer Garmin products but for this price, I may just pick one of these up for backup..

I saw a commercial earlier for a new brand of GPS which shows you the road from a realistic point f view; such as exit signs, etc. I can't remember the brand b/c I never heard it before.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Yes and except for the lower end of the price scale, all units do that.

Sure they do. Gamin calls it 3D. Magellan calls it Bird's-eye 3D view or True view 3D.

I think the Navigon 7100 is what you saw in the commercial. It shows street signs, overpasses etc.

I ended up with the Garmin 680 and it's pretty impressive. I went in and downloaded teh topographical maps from the webiste for the additional fee and they seem well worth it. Thank you again for everyones input. Very much appreciated.
