Default Auto dimmer mirrors

On my 03 H2 the mirrors auto dim but the passenger side does not is this normal?

does the same thing on my 05 H2 also ... driver side auto-dims and the passenger side doesnt...

I wonder if you get a RT side mirror from a RHD H2 then you can get both outers to autodim.

I've experience with JDM or left hand drive cars and the mirrors suck because it lowers your view point on the passenger side...

But then wouldn't they both be convex?
