Default Fj Cruiser

How can you guys hate on the FJ so much? I am really being serious. I have been looking into getting my new hummer, but its pretty bad idea for someone to buy one right now in my opinion.
So I started looking at the FJ. I do agree its looks take some getting used to however, when they are lifted and decked out they look pretty good.
I went and drove a couple of them and they drive pretty decent as well.
I have been doing some reasearch and They seem to be pretty good and offroading as well. of course you see a mishap here and there, but I seen some with hummers too.
so do you guys really think they are crappy? or is it all fun?
I mean its made by toyota and there trucks are great and the tacoma has always been great in offroading(mud anyway).
look at this fj, you cant really tell me its not badass can you?
any help comments etc appreciated.
Thanks
Dennis

I got rid of my h2 and got a New fj this week. Its not a plush as the H2"didnt expect it to be" but i like it alot, i picked up a new brick 4x4 automatic with a rear diff locker and a-trac aswell as premium sound for 26,200. Im looking at putting a 3inch suspension life and some 33x11.5's on it.

I've always liked them. Built with 4runner parts.
1) I like the look of the H3 better
2) Space between rear door and back seats (where they fold down and create that bump) is a bit larger on the H3. I have a case that fits in the rear floor of the H3. It doesnt fit in the FJ.

Perhaps I like being a rebel

The Fj of my buddies seems tippy on our lease. I am not saying it is any tippier. Just feels like it could easily go over where mu Suburban and my Truck does not feel that way.
