Here are the rest of the pics from the compressor install.

The first pic is w/ the air hose installed.
(notice that it sit's too high to close the hood) I'm looking to see if I can find a 90 degree coupler fitting, this will lower the height of the hose when installed and allow for room to shut the hood w/o removing.
also notice the air filter (just below and to the right of the air hose fitting).
make sure to leave enough room to remove the air filter for cleaning.

I was'nt able to get a good shot of where the air hose runs along the top of the frame rail(drivers side) but, here is a pic of where it is accessable. at this point I have'nt attached it, and may not attach it! I used a short length of pipe insulation for protection. notice at the tip of the male fitting, I've used a pop piug to protect it from mud, ect.

And last but not least!
A pic of the coil air hose installed.
This is a great location! it makes airing up all four tires(or any of my daughters inflatable toy's) a snap!

I hope this install will help all of you that would like the conveinence of a hard mounted, on-board air compressor installed on your rig!
Remember! This install is pretty easy and the compressor used in this install is a MASTER FLOW MF-1050.
Using a different compressor for this particular installation could alter these instructions on the procedure significantly.
I would also like to add that the MASTER FLOW MF-1050 is a great little unit and, works very well. From airing-up large tires, to small inflatables, bicycle or motorcycle tires. For the price it can't be beat! "GOOD LUCK" and AIR-ON!!

Wow.
Nicely done, indeed. I would love to know how the set up holds during and after off-roading. Thanks jp's-h3.

Thanks fourfourto, you da man!

And on another note, For all of you folks that have done or are going to do this compressor installation. Make sure the engine is running when using the compressor. This gives the compressor much better "Compression" thus, better air flow!

Man that install looks sweet! The fact that the compressor shroud is red makes it even better.

Top notch job and a great idea running the hose down to the frame. Very nice!

Like the others said- another project to put on the list!

You could easily take the shroud off and paint it to match any H3! The MF-1050 does come in red only!

I like a little Red under my hood.

I talked to my brother .I wont see him till saturday after work. I think Im getting Quick relese fittings at compressor (not the same as air hose fittings) It will attach to hard hose .The fittings and hose are what the tractor trailers use, I will use original male(from compressor)at the frame and use original female on coil hose .
I told him to get me extra set of fittings if posible ,I can always send you a leftover piece of hard hose(Im getting 8 feet) You might be able to put the hard inside your ruber hose and clamp it.Ill list pics this weekend of what I get .
