Well, I was driving past the ski mountain near here and saw a new body style Escalade! I was pretty close to it, and it was not black, but a white-ish color - but covered with salt and crap. It had a Thule box on the roof, but the body reminded my of the earlier Escalade, not the last Escalade body, but the one before that.

It had some HID headlights, and the 22 inch wheels on it. I am suprised to have seen it - I don't think they are even at dealers yet.

I didn't get to look inside, or anywhere else on the truck...but it does look bigger than the current Escalade.

Hubby is freaked out that it looks too much like the Expedition from the front doors to the back. Thoughts?

I would say sorta. But it is GM, and you can tell when you look at it. It just looks like all the sharp lines were sand blasted to bring a smooth look to the truck.

The interior is to die for. They did good! The new Denali is similar, I like 'em.

Also, I personally don't like the GMC versions. I like the Tahoe/suburban from a visual aspect.

The caddy is going to be the killer and it won't be the blingy urban ride that it is today.

I've been reading alot about the new GMT900 package. Looks cool. Should be able to get a Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade this year.

I have one sitting twenty feet away, and to me it is "blingy," especially with those front side fender, fake chrome, vents. But should remain a big seller amonng the sports stars and RAP singers. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

The new specs and pictures talk about 22" wheel options, more chrome and I didn't know about the vents in the front fenders.
