Well, my local dealer insists on putting certain dealer add-ons that I feel add no value and has a $400.00 document fee. Other dealers do not do that and I found a good one in NJ in Paramus. The sales person I dealt with did not push any add-ons and their document fee is no where near $400.00. So my total price difference for the same vehicle is almost $1100.00 I will have to wait another month, but I work hard for my money.... His name is Tim Tarrant and his cell number is 201-248-5460.

Would have liked to keep the business local but ... (KenP, I did try. )

What add on did they insist on. When I ordered mine there was never any pushing to add anything. My dealer, in Reno, was so helpful.

Window etching and some paint protectant. Over $800 for both.

Good for you, FunP. Add on stuff like that is a true rip-off...

And they want $400.00 for the processing fee....

Paint Protection and Undercoating are some of the biggest scams in the auto industry.
I don't work for a dealer that ever tries to push crap like that, and I wouldn't ever try to buy from a dealer that does. Insist on better ethical values from your dealerships. Make them earn their money instead of scamming you.

When the H2 first came out we tacked it all on.
If you can wait then great! If you can find a dealer that is willing not to make any extra money then be ready to go for it right there.

The Hummer dealer in Paramus, NJ gave me a straight deal ... no add ons, and only $99.00 fee for paperwork. So, I got my deposit back and placed it with them.

Fantastic deal! Good for you. I will wait till next year when the used price is about 25k. Just me I would love new but 34 is too much right now.
