That is pretty sweet. I bet more than a few displaced surfers in the northeast are livin' large right now. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Funny ... the water is brown/gray. It ain't like that out west and south. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gifhttp://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

I know, http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif it is normally brown/gray here. But every know and then it looks blue. We get swells a little more often than they do and it is colder. Plus I heard there are turds and stuff floating around up there.http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gifhttp://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I rode some waves as big as the one in your last picture- once- down in Kitty Hawk, NC during a Hurricane. Very scary if you aren't used to it, I broke my board and everything.http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

LMAO @ Alec!

Why in the world is the water that color. I just don't get it. It is funny how the water here looks like smashed ass, and then when you go to...like Aruba, the Keys, or other tropical places it looks clear as all hell!

If I go out in maine the water even looks like that...well, not that brown, but dark. Is it the reef colors? or just some nasty algy that loves colder temps.

Maui. Just got back a few months ago. Cleanest beaches I've ever seen.

Lived there for awhile. Loved it! Back then I drove around Pineapple fields in a little Suzuki Samurai w/ bikini top. Times change, don't they? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
