Lee-Jackson Day is a holiday celebrated in the Commonwealth of Virginia for the birthdays of Robert E. Lee and Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson. Lee-Jackson Day is observed on the Friday before Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and results in the closing of state offices such as the DMV. None the less...still helped make remarkable things happen for the black community. I dont think it should be a "holiday" though. There have been many others like him, of all colors, that have done remarkable things for our country that we have no holiday for. IMHO
