Anybody use a compressor-driven grease gun? If so, is it a good alternative to the old style ones you pump? Any downside to the compressor guns?

Next up: When buying replacement zerk fittings for the H2, is a specific size or thread required?

1/4-28 for the zerk thread. Replace the one on the left (passenger) front side idler arm with a right angle zerk . Just did it this weekend. That zerk is a hidden one, and impossible to reach with a straight on grease cupler. Air grease guns are good. Just get the kind that continuously pumps grease while you hold the trigger. Others you ahve to pull the trigger each time to dispense grease...annoying.

Instead of a compressor based one, look at the Lincoln Power Luber.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

I ended up buying a regular gun with a set of attachments that included the one below. No need to swap zerk fittings with this thing!

Thanks for the thread spec, kazarw, and it's good to know the battery powered guns work, Beastmaster. I looked at those and wasn't sure. Imagine I'll pick one up.
