I am going to the driving academy this october and I wanted to know if anyone has attended it and their feedback on it. My dealer gave me the trip and I am pretty pumped about it. I am also going in late october to be part of an AM General focus group, has anyone out there been part of something like this?

It's one of the best things you can do to learn about your truck.

One of the AZHOG members has been invited to be part of the focus group as well. Her plane trip is booked and ready to go.

The focus group is specifically to get feedback from current H1 owners on how to improve the new Alpha.

Cool, I have my ticket as well for the focus group. It is cool to hear others involved as well. I am looking forward to the academy as well

I too am looking into going to H1 driving academy and would also like to hear others experiences. Maybe I'll post a thread on the "other" forum.

There is another forum? Hmm, whoda thunk it?

Yep. It's the Hummer Mailing list, in existence since 1996.

I was invited and will be attending as well. (10/27 A.M. session). Does anyone know who I could talk to if I wanted to extend my stay and do the driving academy?

John

The driving academy for the H1's is on the 11-15 of October, the focus groups are in house a couple of weeks after that. Hope that you can join the party, I will be in the 10/28 focus group.

Yeah, I found the schedule on the Hummer web site, after posting.

I am going to stay an extra day though (on my penny), flight connections to my corner of the world were kind of tight. Maybe we'll cross paths. I come in on the afternoon of the 26th, and leave out early on the 28th.
