Has any one replaced theirs with this? It has all the features of the factory with a lot more. I want to do it but want to see if any one replaced theirs with it first.

That's a nice unit. I saw it at a local radio shop about 1 month ago. I most likely would have taken that over the Rosen/Necvox but it wasn't out yet. I still like the ALPINE NAV but the Kenwood would have been a lot cheaper!

I played with this yesterday at Cartoys. The user interface was a little plain for an Excelon level unit. It is certainly better than the Necvox option though for a flush mount solution. The price is nice too!

I have both XM and Sirius and I found that Sirius has much better sports and gen entertainment coverage. The music is about the same for both. Anyway XM will be raising there rates soon. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif BIG-C

I think I got something in the mail some time that you can buy the Sirius programing for a one time fee of $500 for the life of the player.

Can anyone confirm this and does XM have something similar?

The Rosen sucks. It over heats and does not function properly. The kenwood is better, still not the best. Go with ALPINE all the way. The best customer service and warranties!!!

That may not be a problem in the future. XM Direct is going to be available for aftermarket radios. There is word that XM wants to market XM Direct kits geared toward Sirius stereos, such as Kenwood.

I just created a post last night about the Kenwood DDX 7015 but received no replies. So obviously I am thinking that it does fit. Anyways, check ebay. They are going for $1000 and some are even going for less than that.

This post was started a few days ago and I'm guessing no one is sure if it fits or not, but I looked at this unit in it's last year's configuration and don't remember a problem about it fitting.

DH22G, maybe you were sold a lemon or a refurbished unit and didn't know it, if so you may have just gotton PUNKED! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

I haven't had any problems with my Rosen/Necvox unit. Alpine doesn't make a double din head or I would have bought it. I like the Rosen/Necvox head unit. It's nothing special but like PhilD said it's better than the H2's stock head unit. Plus I have my Alpine NAV and the Rosen/Necvox 10 disc DVD changer hooked up to it.
