Hey, fellow H2r's - I have a few questions, perhaps someone out there has used one of these 'spacers' on their H2 and may OFFER TIPS ON INSTALLING? I recently purchase one after having EXCELLANT PERFORMANCE AND ECONOMY ADDED to my 1997 Suburban when I installed a 'HELIX BRAND' spacer.
Now, I read in one of the previous posts that "if you disconnect the battery cables" you will need a 'TECHNICIAN' to come out and 're-program something' - IS THIS THE CASE ON AN H2?? I did NOT have ANY PROBLEM installing the spacer on the sub!!? WHATS UP WITH THIS INFO??
Thank all who reply - I am soon to post my pics on my '03 H2 ADVENT - BLACK, CHROME WHEEL CAPS, MUCH TO ADD LATER! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

Don't worry you won't have any problems. You might have to reset your clock and that's about it.

I've disconnected my battery numerous times for different reasons, and I never had trouble. What you probably will have trouble with is getting the spacer to fit. A lot of times, the spacer pushes the TB/Intake tube back far enough that the fan hits the intake tube. I didn't bother with the spacer, and still had to trim my intake way down just to get it to clear the fan. Good luck.

Rab4jc it appears you are experiencing difficulties with the function of your caps lock key. Don't worry, this has happened to others as well, the best thing you can do is just go buy a new keyboard. Also try to keep a distance of at least 1 foot from the keyboard when masterbating, it will help in the future to prevent any more of this sticky key syndrome. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
