For those how have the H-cam

Am trying to install my H-cam to my kenwood 715, I did every thing in the instillation manual and rechecked again and again http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

All I get is black screen with some static – please help

there probably is a trigger wire that you didn't hook up, this wire is supposed to get hooked up to the e-brake but most people connect it to ground so you can see video while you're moving<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>Originally posted by NK:

No didn’t buy the monitor, cam only. But I have a visualagic headrests monitors, I tried those two get the same results. And I believe I have power since there is a static line, I pulled the fuse and the static was gone. But I’ll check the power line again.

This wire goes to accessory wire it’s hooked up and I can watch DVD while am driving, but there is another wire coming from the cam that go to the reveres gear, I hooked this one to power. Am not sure if this one should go to accessory line???
I would try to do it but I didn’t find accessory line in the hitch plug..

Relay kit installed and working 12.8 v, power going to camera checked 12.8 v. all connectors are checked..
I wander if I can check the signal coming from the RCA wire going to the video input??

This is the reply received from TrailDuty.

A complete H-CAM system will ship today and be with you later this week. Please try the new system (you may just want to connect it before installing anything) and see if it solves the problem. the new cam is up and running. look good and works greet.
