Anyone install video monitors in their headrest or have it done? I was looking at a system from Farenheit. I have never heard of them. Just trying to get information on this before I take the leap. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks. I have been doing some research on them. They seem to be highly recommended. What about cost? What should I expect to pay?
Thanks,
Coach

i payed 1500.00 for the 15" and dvd player installed.and 350.00 for the headsrest monitor wich is mounted up front so i can see what the kids are watching.also i'm going to have a camera put on the rear so i can view it upfront since the monitor has a video 1 and an auxillary input.

The video DVD system depends on who is sitting in the back. when I first bought my H2 I had head rest mounted screens installed. The damn things didn't last a week with my four little kids. My 2yr old constantly kicked the screen with his feet. Both screens had finger prints and one was on the verge of cracking. Needless to say, I took them out. I have nothing in the truck now (sort of a punishment for the kids).

On our Honda Odyssey, I had an aftermarket Audiovox system installed (drop down type) with an 8" screen. The kids can't get to it and everyone in the back can see it without saying, "move your head."

I know the head rest monitors look cool but it all depends on the maturity of the back passengers.
