I am looking at a 2003 H2 withe the front brushguard installed. I like the H2 better without it. Would it be difficult to remove the brushguard?

It takes about 10min to do. Pull off the lower grill plate, remove the four bolts that hold the lower brush guard brackets to the body, if its a wrap around guard you must also remove the upper bolts from inside the grill. Reinstall the lower grill and your done!

Yes, it is very easy, takes minutes.
In my case, I do not have the 17mm socket, I drove to a gas station, the amigo did it for me for $10. Actually he took it off for me with air powered socket, helped me screwed on the new black grill, and put the brushguard back on, all for $10. A set of sockets will cost me a lot more than that.
Do I smell a brush guard for give-away?
