I deserve a brownie. I made it through 1.5 days with the in-laws and did not kill them. I have a massive headache that will likely persist for another week because my MIL will not shut up - EVER, but there was no bloodshed. I am most pleased. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

So now they're gone and I'm chillin that the house is finally mine again. Allllllll mine. Well, sorta.

Bought gas for $2.65 today. Sweeeeeeeet. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Have to get the yellow beast inspected tomorrow, hoping that the inspection guy will be cool about it and not give me any problems. Otherwise I'll just have to run over his little inspection station...that's what I got the lift for. That, and running over stray cats.

It has been crazy! Every river seems to be so high right now. I hope we do not have anymore rain coming this way - but I see some in the forecast. I live on high ground - but work next to a river.
