Oh oh. There must be a story behind this... What happened to yours?

shhh...

No - really I am thinking of getting a spare one and doing some "modding" to it. I want to try to make it look good, so to speak! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

What about the SMA one?

http://www.smahummer.com/detail.jsp?cid=8&pid=1024 (http://www.smahummer.com/detail.jsp?cid=8&pid=1024)

I want to improve the looks of it too. Been thinking about changing it over when I decide on the new rims.

I love modding, miss the mod parties we threw with the Ford Harley F150 truck club.

yeah Snake II, I saw that too. I like it, but I have some ideas I want to try with a stock one before I lay out the cash for that one!!

Another idea: forum post (http://elcova.com/groupee/forums/a/tpc/f/6706011751/m/9991073511/r/9991073511#9991073511).

Hoping to get the handle swap done this weekend. I'll ship 'em your way, attention: Blue Man, since you'll undoubtedly be holding your breath. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

And as interest on my end of the swap, I'm prepared to offer two (yes, two!) free, slightly used OEM shock/lid lifters for an SUT tonneau cover. What a deal! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

And as a final bonus, I'll stop hijacking your thread and return to our regularly scheduled program...

What did you do with you tonneau?

I wish they made the bedrug for the SUT. It is grat, impervious to all spills, practically indestructale, and looks great. I had one in my 2002 Harley f150.

Heres a pic of my old truck.

One more from the front. I miss the speed in that truck.

Still have it but had to upgrade the lifters to handle the increased load after mounting one of only two SUT bed racks on the planet, thanks to Gobi. Timgco has the other. He'll be posting pics in the photo section soon. This is one sweet upgrade and very functional!

Will GOBI be making the rack soon?

I think (not really sure) that in the process of building two they built a jig for the bed rack. So yes, I imagine you can buy one now or anytime in the future. Cash is the mother's milk of all mods.

Oh, and BTW, if Tim says the bed rack was his idea, don't listen. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Rodster, what is the retail cost of the rack, or do you know? That's something I would LOVE to have.

Thanks,

Pete

I don't know, Pete. Sorry. You might PM Tim -- he can probably tell you. I'm sure the price I paid was skewed because of development costs.
