Hey everybody.

I'm a brand new H2 owner as of Dec. '03 and had a easy question I think anybody on this forum could answer. What rating floor jack is necessary to raise up the H2 to do something like a tire rotation? (i.e. lifting one corner at a time). I am also thinking about getting a new set of wheels for it, so it would be important to have the tools to do the job beforehand. So would I be able to get away with a 2-1/2 ton, 3 ton, or need a 3-1/2 ton jack? If anybody could let me know I would appreciate it.

I would GUESS no less than 3 tons considering how heavy the truck is with fuel and fluids in it. But you know, if you are going to be laying under it, I would suggest one you are comfortable with. And some blocks. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Thanks for the reply.

I already know of somebody with a 3 ton jack so having one greater than or equal to 3 is no problem. I wanted to make sure that that was going to be enough. I might just go out and get myself a 3-1/2 ton one just to be sure. And of course use blocks. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
