when i installed the k%n cold air intake i disconnected the battery via the instructions that came with k%n , i previously re-programmed the truck with hyper-tech, when i disconnnected the battery did i re-set the factory computer to "cancel" the hypertech program i installed?

No you did not. The factory program is inside your hypertech right now. You can always check by plugging back in the hypertech and it will display "programming installed" Its all good http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

ECMs contain a base Air/Fuel & timing table stored in the ECMs ROM. It will be there even if power is removed. It doesn't matter if this is the OEM map or one from Hypertech.

There is also some AFR customization that occurs depending on data the ECM received from sensors (MAF, O2, TP sensor etc.). This is what gets reset after disconnecting the battery. This is needed to compensate for dynamic variables because every engine is different and experiences numerous changes throughout it's lifespan.

Lets look at Monstermatt for a moment,

Screen Name - Monstermatt - Matt is a Monster

Drives a ficticious H2- a big truck

I guessing this guy is trying hard to over compensate and has homoerotic fantisies of men Paragon in paticular.

This guy is probably about 5'2"- 5'3" 115-135 soaking wet, lacked a father figure and probably was picked on in his early teens and still shunned by females till this day. This is was causes his rage and attatchment to males in the mid 30's to upper 40's he just wants a daddy!

FWIW, braniac, the kissy-poos were a reference to you, but I'm guessing that's just a wee bit above your pay grade.

Come on Paragon, the boy is confused enough (gender wise) http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif. It is going take him another 24 hours to come up with another of those clever comebacks http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif
