Guys, check out this post on Pirate4x4 by Disco. He's a buddy of mine and a decent guy. This is very weird. Anyawy, check it out, and if you guiys know anything of the owner of this H1, call the El Dorado Forest USFS

It's out. I saw it on Sunday.

Now...where it was stranded...it's another 2 miles of brutal 4-wheeling just to get to dirt. Pulling it up hills like this.

On Sunday, we found it parked about 20 feet from reaching asphalt. About 15 miles from where it was stranded since October 29, 2003.

If you look at the A-Arm photos, the left rear is still broken, and it appears the righ rear was welded recently. I wasn't there during any of the rescue attempts, but my guess is, the rear a-arms may have broken from the weight of the snow. It's not unusual for it to have snow 20 feet high where it was stranded. (About 7,000feet)

My guess is they were going to put it on a flat bed or something the rest of the way.
