I've seen these photos awhile ago. I am not sure if this is a stunt. That is a late model Honda, with expensive rims, worth at least $16K-$18K, nobody throw away money like that except movie studios. I see police and fire engine around, maybe the cable was attached after the fact. The background looks like a military base. I don't know any background but I think it is an accident. No responsible adult waste a Honda like that, any new car.

I call BS on that being an ACCIDENT, thats on purpose, the tire of the H1 would have been THRU the window on that honda....

I see no tire mark on the road, there is usually some hard braking before impact.
The damage on the Honda is consistant with the H1 tire travel, yet there is no sign of frontal impact. The scene is too clean. At the same time, in accident, anything is possible.

I just don't see any logic in such a stunt with a new car. Ever since Japan's economy took a nosedive, we Amercans no longer hate Japanese. I don't know H1 well enough to tell if that is a real military vehicle or not. Any CO allowed such a waste of money for a stunt will not stay on the post for 24 more hours, that includes everyone else involved. There are idiots out there to throw away $16K new car or thieves with 2 stolen vehicles.

But nothing is impossible, just maybe mathematically improbable.

Duramax is right, you can clearly see the cable attached to the H1...jjjjjust in case it decided to roll.

My hunch...the drivers-side was likely very damaged already and the vehicle was written-off as a total...so they did this for fun.

I don't think it was staged. You can see the military police in the background and there is no damage to the car other than the path of the tire besides do you really think the military would allow one of their own to just run over a Honda for fun? Well, maybe but I doubt it.

Maybe the military has changed, they spend spare time bashing Japanese car, but I don't think so. Today's officers are well trained in PR management, anyone stupid enough to pulled a stunt like this was ready for nasty early retirement. Punks, union organizers and bullies do these sort of things. The risk to military equipment and driver, waste of time for the military police and fire engine crew. Career-minded officers in well run units have no need for these types of **** risk on their resumes.
