My 37" MTR's are fine this time around but next time I want something that's fatter. All the 37/12.50/17's look tall and skinny on the 4" lift. Anyone running something like the SSR 38x15.50r17 with a 4" lift?

The 37" XTerrains look bad ass on a lifted H2. They are 13.50 wide.

I saw some pictures from the East Coaster of someone running some 38" boggers that looked very wide, but I'm sure his lift was more than 4"

I didn't know they made a 37" Xterrain. Their website doesn't list it. The 13.50 seems like it would be perfect for my moderate build.

Any pictures of the 37" Xterrains on an H2? If need be I will put on the wider wheel flairs to keep the rocks and mud from getting thrown, besides keeping the state police from pulling me over. Since I wheel also, I don't want a lot of rubbing. I don't rock race, just trail stuff.

It's not the tire that makes your tire/rim combo look so skinny it's your rim width. Most tires on a 8" wide rim will look skinny.

I personally think the H2 tires stock are too skinny and if lifted I think you need at least a 10" wide rim if not 12".

There's a guy on here who has a 40" tire on a 20x10" rim with a 4" lift. I think this look is perfect.

Ok now that is BAD ASS!! If I do a lift that's what I'll be doing but with 38x15.5R20s. Toyo has them on 20's and Nitto will soon. I had hoped to stay with as little lift as possible but it looks like I may need a 5.5".

What width are your rims? That makes a huge difference.

Like the Grappler shown on here but the sidewall is too mean for me. Great tire though!

Front view of MT's and Welds---Welds are 18 X 10--the 12's have offset and backspace issues--to do them right they will have to be spacers installed and the tires will stick out of the fenderwell in disproportion.

Lots of nice tires and wheels. I was hoping not to have to buy another set of wheels. I am now running 17x9" Ultra En4cer wheels without any issues with rubbing or pushing the wheel out too far to cause issues with the front end like a 12" would. You guys with 10" wheels, any issues? Sure look good. Here's a shot of mine with the MTR's on the 17x9 wheels and the 4" lift. Just too skinny for me.

Mine are 18" X 10" rims.

Here is a shot of Procomps XTerrain 40's on a 20" Weld Evo Cheyennes.
These 20" rims with 40" tires are on an Excursion.

I really like the look of the Nitto's and the pro comps. Milage-wise, how do they compare with the MTR's? As with most folks, unfortunately more time is spent on the road than off. However, the reason we got it was to go play off road.
I noticed that some tires, like the 40x13.50/17 MTRs list wheels that can be used at between 8.5 and 11". I wish I had bought 10" and not 9".

I can't give you real data--do not think they have been out long enough for actual numbers.

I had the ProComps and can tell you they are softer and will not compete with the MTRs mileage wise. They look great and HUG the road though.

Have you decided on your tires yet?
