I know that Klaus has pointed us to a CD player that will not cause XM interference. I know that the aftermarket setup that got put into my car by the dealer does have the XM interference problem. However, I do not know why. Is it just the external CD player? I don't buy the dealer's explanation which I'm not going to bother repeating. There is also two DVD players hooked up as well to the system.

The solution to the XM noise problem was putting in a "kill switch" which effectively takes the CD player out of the loop (kills it's power).

Why would the CD player off http://www.discountcarstereo.com be any better than the one currently installed? i.e. why does it not introduce this XM noise problem??

thanks,

Greenhummer
