Good to see some local fellow Hummer owners...

Now H1/H2/H3 all are fine...

If your outside Maryland that is fine also...

I guess what needs to happen now is set a date and location good for everyone...And try to get a good number committed to coming out. At least 12-15 owners perhaps...

Let me know everyone's take and we can go from there...

Thanks,
Greg

We can take that into consideration.

I like to maybe come up with 2-3 locations in which will be convenant for everyone at least for the first meeting. since we may have some owners coming in from PA/VA/DE.

At this time it looks like we have 3-4 owners intrested from the area. I will keep putting the word out until we get 12-15 at least then we'll set a date/location and go from there....

We'd join you on the Eastern Shore.

You all keep your eyes open for the trips to Paragon, too.

Greg

do we need to wait for 12-15 trucks??? Coudltn we have any outing/gathering with even 5-6 trucks? If folks are willing to go I have seen gatherings on this site with as little as 3 trucks.

Just wondering. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">Originally posted by Greg:

Well looks like we have about 6-8 trucks so far...

How about:

Location:
Annie's Paramount Steak & Seafood House

500 Kent Narrows Way North, Grasonville, MD 21638

Lat 38° 58' 24" N Long 76° 14' 46" W

Website: http://www.annies.biz/index2.htm

We could do a Saturday or Sunday Lunch?

Like 1:00 to 3:00pm?

Dates: Jan 28th or 29th?

How does that sound to everyone?

We can meet in the parking lot, then have lunch, etc...

Let me know.

Assateague Island would be great!

Is there any camping on the Island? Or would it be a day trip only?

This would be great for April / May ...

Hey, Might be intrusted in a little road trip,
Where would we be off roading?

Assateague Island is about 30 miles from my home.
Perhaps, familiarity breeds contempt. In any event, driving on the beach, at Assateague, necessitates purchasing a $70 one year permit, a $10 entrance fee and possession of required equipment, to drive about 10 miles of unchallenging seashore. See Assateague OSV Use (http://www.nps.gov/asis/orv.htm)
The US Park Rangers enforce all rules ( permit, equipment, speed, DUI, etc. ) veryagressively.
I'm sorry to say there are really no good off-road areas, on the Eastern Shore of Delmarva. The closest place, I know of, is Paragon Adventure Park, in PA, about 4 hours away.

From your pics, you should be leading the group!
I was only there once and that was in my stock Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.

How did it go? I wish we could have made it, but relatives are coming here tomorrow... of the in-law variety. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Hong and I just got back!

It was lot fun. We had a great lunch and a lot of good coversation.

Many plans were hatched for an active summer at Paragon... and a handful of other events.

I'd rate it a success.

But the wheeling was very sackless. Biggest thing I climbed was a curb.

Then after getting high centered It took 30 minutes to winch off of it....

Well,

We had a great time at Annie's! Food and company were great!

Took over 30 minutes to get Shipbldr off that curb!

For those who were not able to make this one, were looking to do it again perhaps around the end of Febuary - beginning of March...For those intrested and can commit to a date TBD please let me know...

Thanks!

Dara and I just got back, because we came home via Wilmington, DE. We had to go to NuCar Hummer to look at trading for an H2 SUT. Shipbldr/Charles and Greg got us psyched; especially the way Shipbldr flawlessly handled the 6" parking lot divider, until he high centered.
We saw a 2006 H2 SUT Pacific Blue Limited Edition, at NuCar. It is really cool; but, at $66K too much for us. NuCar also has a new 2005 leftover H2 SUT, for close to $10K off MSRP. It is more our speed/price and we'll decide by Monday. Anybody have a GMID certificate, ASAP?
We, too, had a great time at Annie's Steak & Seafood House. Greg made an excellent choice of location. The food, facilities, location and ambiance were first class. However, the most fun was meeting, and talking, with Greg, Kathy, Austin, Charles and Hong. KenP was greatly missed.
