Knew you would look.http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I am painting a bathroom and I am really frustrated because I can't take off the toilet paper roll holder things. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

Kenny is playing poker and I can't go out there because I look like crap and it is freezing raining outside. And it is too late out here to call my Dad.

Not to mention, he swiped my flathead from my tool box and I had to Macgyver the switchplates off with a tiny attachment. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif And I don't now which of his tool boxes to look in. I can't even find one in the junk drawer.

There is a teeny tiny screw on part of it and I have an attachment I can try with my fingers. I tried unscrewing the whole thing to the left but it just rotates. There are two of them.

Can someone please help me before I freak out? Please.

Ps- Does anyone know the etiquette regarding painting behind the toilet?

yeah... the etiquette is don't

The easy way is to remove the tank. They come apart really easy once you've done one or two...

I would just mask the toilet off. As for the toilet paper holder. I would do this: Rip it out of the wall. Then bitch at Ken about how he took your screw driver, left you to do it by yourself, and how the weather was bad so you couldent go out there (make sure to blame him for the bad weather too). http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Seriously just rip the thing out. The screw is probably held in there by one of those nylon guides (cant think of the name of it right now). And always remember: when in doubt get a hammer.

just bust it up and shove the pieces back down the drain hole.... then go buy a new one.

Do what I always do when I can't find a small enough screwdriver. Get your best and largest knife with a point, and use that to unscrew that little screw. Your best knives tip shouldn't break if a little strain is placed on it.

Write back as soon as you get it.

BTW, just hire someone to paint the bathroom, and then take credit for it! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

CP,
We can't help you without a picture, so....

(1) Take a picture with your camera phone.
(2) Give the phone to Ken who will delete the picture
(3) Take another picture with you camera phone
(4) Forget about it for a while
(5) Tell Ken to email it to himself
(6) Ken will forget.
(7) Repeat.

Yes, take a full gallon of paint and place the open part of the can against the wall above the toilet tank. Then pour the paint out slowly against the wall and go back and forth along the top of the tank letting it run down the wall behind the tank. Finally wipe up the excess at the bottom of the wall and.......
.......PRESTO...DONE!!! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
