The cause of this condition may be due to the roof-mounted off-road spot lamp

Mid BEC connector cavity. If a customer attempts to tow a trailer equipped with
electronic brakes and does not use a controller (requiring them to remove the

are turned on.</P><A name=ss3-1459306><A

To prevent activation of the trailer's electronic brakes, a modification to
the off-road spot lamp wiring harness must be performed. Use the procedure

Klaus, what about the front off road light option that uses the same plug in that the roof harness would use? Does that engage the brakes as well?
