Last night was good as evidenced by my pounding headache and queezy stomach. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
Not much planned for today. Wife is working and I'm chillin' with the kids. Eat, watch TV, and maybe take a nap. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I'm stuck working, with a hangover no less. It's the same every year, work new years eve 12 hours or so, drink, nap, work all new years day.
It's a damn shame really, 52 employees at my one store and the most I can muster up to work are 5 drunk people. At least everything is funny today. Tomorrow will be a different story once we sober up and realize we screwed a lot of **** up.

While reading everyone's responses a song popped into my head: (To the tune of 12 days of Christmas!!)
On the first day after New Year's Eve, with puffy eyes, I see:
1. CP mourning over Dick Clark!
2. Alec's remodeling never ends!!
3. Dan - "I think I had fun last night???"
4. VTStomper - "Will the baby quit screaming?????"
5. Frank - "FIIIVE DRUNK EMPLOYEES!!!"
6. Tootsie - "Where's the damn Rose Parade????"
7. hmrlvr - "Christmas clean-up sucks"
8. Ric-H2 - "Menudo is my friend"
9. Orbital - "This isn't my house???"
10. PhilD - "Going to the store eighteen times!"
(I need two more entries everyone!!)

Well as I warned last night, I went downtown, and drank the whole bar! I managed to drive myself home as the sun was rising! I've been watching the pillow and TV off and on all morning!
Doing much better now, just gotta get up and eat some Menudo!
Happy New Year all!!!
It's gonna be a great Year!!!

Got most of my x-mas stuff in one room. Packing it tomorrow.
My sweet and tiny girl is spending the holidays at her Dad's beach house in Captiva.http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif So when she returns I want her to open the presents in front of the tree, so we will leave it up. Tacky but no one is coming over so I don't care.http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
Need updated pics Alec.http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif I am still watching the paint dry.http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Bah! My tree is staying up another week, maybe longer depending on laziness. It's a long walk off the cliff to the woods to be rid of it so it's fine where it is for now.
I don't give a damn if people come over and think it's tacky, I'll stab em in the eye with a fallen pine needle! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

I thought it was going to be an easy day today. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif
Taking down Christmas was a BIG chore! And now the house looks naked and the daughters are sad. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif My wife really did it up right this year for Christmas. The place looked like something out of a magazine.
Good news: Santa brought a new grill and we tried it out today for the fist time. Yumbo -- pork roast on the rotisserie, smoked with Jack Daniels wood chips. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif
