Was out driving today and seen a yellow H3 parked. Being that I was driving my Yellow H2 I thought I would take the chance to pull side by side with it and take some pics for you guys. I even got under it for a few underbody pics.

I have resized them to 800x600 for posting here, but you can download the original 2514x1960 images all in a zip file by clicking Here (http://69.93.98.85/4.zip) - Enjoy!

Dallion, thats very cool, hope you didnt get a ticket for parking in the handicaped space. Anyway what state are you in or are these trucks in. Did you talk to the owner of the H3 if you did > are they GM's test fleet people or is this an actual delivered H3

Na I just pulled over to take the pics and then left. As I was snapping pictures the owner did come out, he does work for GM but this is a final production H3, with Adventure Pkg and the 33" tires.

The one thing that struck me right away was how much higher the rock rails are than on the h2. The h3 has a serious amount of ground clearance and everything was tucked away pretty nice underneath of it. Some plating on the transfer case and full IFS skid was also there.

The Blue plate usally is a Mfgr. plate. All the Hummers at the school have them. You know it does not look that small next to your rig.
Dallion, what did you think? would you buy one after having the H2?

To be honest with you I was genuinely impressed. I think this little baby will be an excellent rock crawler and could be made into a wonderful offroader.

I will never give up my H2 as my primary vehicle, but I am now going to purchase an H3 as well (probably for the GF). And your right, side by side the size difference is mainly in width. The rock rails were quite a bit higher than the ones on my h2, and you cant really tell from the pictures but its very solid underneath as well.

Overall I have to say I was impressed, extremely and think it will sell very well.

So, by looking at the front wheel well, do you think a 35" tire will fit?
