That was the first try at a winch on the H2. As you know I've since upgraded through the MM12K and finally ended up with the Warn Tabor series 12K. Super sinch. Very easy to use and with the synthetic line & a safety hook I'm VERY happy.http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I agree, I really love the idea of the rope. I used to have a 8000i on my old truck.

Idealy I would like to get a drty bumper/winch... http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I am running the warn 9.5 TI, and I love it.
I have not had to winch out my Hummer yet.

But I did use my winch to remove a large amount of Cactus out of my yard with no problems. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I did use the warn 9.5 TI, to winch out a Hummer at the Hummer Academy. the winch works great.

I have the 9.5 ti with the multi mount. I had to use it to get my H2 out of a very tough spot, and had to use a snatch block to get it to move. (front diff was out, and couldn't move out of the rocks) I'll be getting another snatch block in the near future, and I'll be replacing the cable with the new synthetic rope. Someone just posted on here the other day that they broke the rope and it fell straight to the ground. No whipping.
I would upgrade to a winch bumper, but I like being able to take it off, or use it in the back reciever position if I ever need too, however, it would be nice to have the 12k lb rating though.
And, as a side note, I would like to include that I have witnessed The Drty Winch Bumper in action, on an H2, and it was a flawless performance! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif
