I belive my father left a piece of him on his ship in WWII. I got to enjoy him until two years ago. Even the hero's who make it home are changed forever. Forget what the man on the glowing box tells you, It takes more then most of us will ever know to go fight for your country! God bless them all and theri families.

You're right; when we return we are changed forever and not usually for the better... I feel for the ones who come home to no family, but hopefully their friends can make up for that.
