No, poor taste is the fact that you thought it MIGHT be in poor taste for SOME.

I think you did the right thing removing it and I am sure there was no harm intended on your part. BTW do you have a 442 now? You dont see too many of them anymore.

I have a 68 442 now many years ago I had a 69,71 ,72 442 a 68 cutlass convertable.also 65 chevelle a 66 ,69
,72 and 84 toronado.among other cars.

Along with my '70 442 convertible I also had a '70 Supreme convertible. Man I miss those two :(

Those are sweet too. Buddy of mine sold his 68 Skylark a couple of years ago, thing was built. He also has a 72 Skylark Sun Coup. They only made 1,500 of them and only in '72. Needs a lot of work but can't imagine there are many around anymore.
