I think the H3 handles great on the hwy and mountain roads.

I pushed it hard thru the turns comming over Angeles Crest Hwy. from Palmdale and wow it is great.

No lean and very controled. And I had about 30 psi in the tires.

Maybe the 4 wheel drive helps pull the front end through the turns?

But then compared to a Jeep with a soft suspension and anti-rock swaybar any thing would seem to handle well.

I find it handles great in the hills, but it takes a bit of engine work to go through the hills, especially on extended vertical climbs.

I agree with the good handling.

However, I do have 1 major handling issue. My front end "skips" over bumps if I hit a bump while turning. And I mean like nearly changing lanes jumping, if I am doing over 50 mph and hit a small pothole mid turn. Maybe over inflated tires?

Mine jumps lanes as well when turning and hitting pot holes. Kinda scary when it happens especially for the car next to me. I do have alot of air in the tires, maybe thats it???

The kicking/jumping of the rear end as described when turning over bumps is typical of a live (solid) axle rear end.

Yeah, but it's the front end that does it. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

I plan on checking the air pressures today.
