Can the OEM bulbs be replaced with LED bulbs in the brake light assembly? If so, would it even make a visible difference?

There have been discussions about this before. Try the search.

The basics of it is yes you can, but you'll need to add in resistors to generate the same load as a regular bulb. Without it your cruise control will not work correctly.

I'm adding all the stuff Klaus showed You. I will be able to give You some feedback a little later and be able to let You know who has the best price. I'm also adding real nice billet guards to cover the big 4 corner lights as well as the middle markers. They are not thin like most these guards are. These are machined thick and heavy and look like they belong on a H2. Real rugged looking.
I'm also adding a rear third brake light guard that is machined to match the small middle marker guards. It is big and heavy not a little small break if You looked at it hards type guard like allot of them are like. I have run many types with sponsors wanting me to try them and see if i would use them and the ones i decided on are so much more rugged looking and heavy. I think most would like them.

Buy them all in a set and price goes down fairly well. But if the light is pricey wait to you price the huge well made guards for the little markers and the big 4 corners.
I'll have them in kits soon to sale as We are gathering items We will use in customizing We will sell some things off Our website.
I'm switching to LEDs over the bulb so they are brighter and last longer. I have the drl hooked to markers so the painted bulbs would be white in a week or 2.

Well the reason is they start with a aircraft
t-6061 aluminum i think a block of billet 6"X6" which is high dollar and has allot of waste. Then they triple or quadruple chrome plate. The manufacturer I get them from put allot of quality in them. I think Ours are decent amount less than $400 and Dragon will have promo's and stuff for special people just to keep things fun. He has several plans but, still building and adding to list on website so it will be another 30 days I'm guessing before We have it like We want. He will have packages at different times to have all lights and all guards at a real big discount but, We have to get site all up and running and parts on it.
