Does anyone know of a mod to allow the DRL to stay on with the headlights? Other than hardwiring them to a separate switch?
My former Av had a similar set up.. and I read somewhere that a diode could be installed on a relay which would allow the DRL to stay on but I don't remember where I saw that.
If i find it I will post it.. in the meantime.. anyone?

What bulb did you replace the DRL's with? I looked for replacements after this mod (which has been on for almost a year) and I couldn't find the right bulb number. Maybe another one with a similar base will work?

PIAA 3157 work great. The bulbs are blue (this bugs some people, NOT ME:D ) but are as bright white as the Sylvania Silver Star headlights at night.

I bought mine on e-Bay. Have had the same set in for over 7 months. Still working PERFECTLY:cool:
