Dan Dorrity is THE MAN!
I'm still reeling over Swearengen and Bullock's fight. Now THAT is the best moment on the show.
I'm still suspecting a catch 22 behind Hurst letting his secondhand man fighting Dority. If you recall, his bodyguard was going to drown Dority, but he looked up over at Hurst and then dragged him out of there.
I'm still suspecting something is up. That Hurst is one evil fawker.
Bottom line is even this monster has compassion. That's why he didn't drown him.
HAHA, I just realized the show repeats on HBO West ot midnight, not 1am. I missed it.
That's alright, Entourage is pretty fun and they're all available on OnDemand tomorrow.:D

If I recall correctly, the captain looked up to Hearst to get his final approval to proceed with the killing. Hearst gave a very subtle nod, but then things went unexpectedly bad for the captain. Dority did the same thing when he picked up the stick to finish off the captain. Swearingen, IMO gave him a visual go ahead and walked away.
BTW: This is the guy who the character George Hearst is supposed to be: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Hearst
