Before I go spending time looking up good auto body shops, what do they charge to paint a stainless grill black on average?

I need it done or I need to replace it. My brush guard gets powder coated this weekend and while it's off I should take care of the bling on the grill.

JamesT thanks!

Now if only I could see the grill in the pic:D It's too shadowy I can't make it out. That must be LineX's color called "Stealth Black", ok ok ok.

That's what I think I will do. I looked up a LineX dealer and it is in the same city where I am going this weekend to drop off my Brush Guard for powder coating so looks like one trip. Then I get to drive around with no front end hardware untill it's done, that ought to be fun for turning heads.

I don't have to ever worry about chips in that stuff either. I drive all day some days so the front end of my vehicles always look speckled after a few years of duty. Not anymore:cool:

Anymore LineX grill pics floating around?

Gents well Ladies too, sorry. I went to Line X in Manassas VA (northern VA)today and dropped of my grill and brush guard.

It's only $150 each if you do both! Or $175 for one item.

I would say that has got to be the best price on having it done.

Doing it yourself the best price looks like Duplicolor Bedliner for $20 to $30 for teh two cans it would take for a few good thick coats.

I went with the LineX for 2 reasons on the grill.

#1 I'm lazy for $150!

#2 The LineX is much more aggresive looking in the texture department. After looking at the pics I saw on this board of LineX'd front ends I was sold!

BTW
Phil you have the best AVATARS man! How do you get those ladies to move in the AVATAR?

dochummer I will be using the duplicolor on my fog light housings and grills.
